I request the newly-appointed Minister for Tourism Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman to play his role in restoring normal life and peace in Swat so that people are able to visit this beautiful area without any fear. The President and PM should personally visit the area and hold parleys with the local stakeholders. The situation in Swat is alarming. In such bad circumstances, the tourism industry is being ruined to the point where it would be unable to serve the local or foreign tourists in future even if the peace is restored.
