MINGORA :Unidentified gunmen shot dead a senior TV journalist in the insurgency-hit Swat valley on Wednesday, his brother and witnesses said.
Musa Khan Khel, who was working for Geo television and daily The News was shot dead in Matta area of Swat, Geo TV reported.

Khan Khel had gone to the area to cover the expected talks between the local Taliban leader and a cleric leader.
Cleric Sufi Muhammad led hundreds of his supporters to reach Matta for talks with Taliban leader Maulana Fazalullah to convince them to lay down arms.
"We are announcing the sad news that Geo TV correspondent in Swat was assassinated by unidentified gunmen," Geo anchor announced as breaking news.
"We demand of the government to trace the killers and punish them," it said.
No group claimed responsibility for the killing.
It is the second journalist to be shot dead in Swat valley in three months.
Information Minister Sherry Rehman condemned Khan Khel murder and said the murderers would be brought to justice.
