KARACHI: Pakistan People Party (PPP) MNA Fauzia Wahab said Friday that extra-judicial killing of women in Swat on facade charges of vulgarity would be stopped soon.
She made these remarks at a protest demonstration organized by the members of Civil Society in front of Karachi Press Club today.
The protesters were carrying placards and banners inscribed with slogans of outdated anti-Islamic system in tribal areas and Swat.
On this occasion, Wahab said that the government would reopen Swat schools in two months under the supervision of security forces.
Addressing the participants of the protest, the speakers said that killing of innocent people would not be tolerated.
