Some questions for Sufi Mohammad

Thursday, April 16, 2009

Now that Sufi Mohammad's Nizam-i-Adl is being enforced in Swat, I would like to ask him some questions:

Does Islam allow someone to forcibly occupy someone else's property?

Does Islam allow for the destruction of educational institutions?

Does Islam sanction the virtual imprisonment of half of the its population – i.e. women – by depriving them of their right to an education and access to a doctor?

Does Islam authorize the display and use of weapons and of murdering one's opponents?

Does Islam allow men who fight on its behalf to take their society to a level where no scientific development and/or technological advancement are possible?

Ordinary Pakistani would also like to know how – as in source of funding -- the Sufi and his disciples have bought their sophisticated weapons, vehicles and food.
