ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani says that he will soon visit Swat and announce a relief package of Rs400 million for uplift of the scenic valley.
He made this announcement, while speaking to a delegation of Awami National Party (ANP) here at the PM House today (Thursday).
The prime minister said that the federal government would approve Rs17 billions for NWFP as electricity profit and Rs4 billions funds for the NWFP police before the next budget.
He also directed the authorities concerned to form a committee in this connection.
Gilani further assured that the government would first make payments to the NWFP province after getting aid from Friends of Pakistan.
