SWAT: Spokesman of banned organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, Muslim Khan said the Swat girl would have been stoned to death if the Qazi had been present.
Talking to Geo News, he said his organization does not approve of the way the girl had been punished. ”She should not have been punished out in the open,” he added.
Muslim Khan claimed the girl had illicit relations that is why she was awarded punishment of less than 40 whips.
Both the man and the girl confessed their sin prior to the awarding of the punishment.
