LAHORE: Former Amir Jamat-i-Islami, Qazi Hussain Ahmed Thursday urged the parties to Swat peace agreement to observe patience and ensure implementation of the deal.
In a statement issued from Mansoora, Qazi said Asif Ali Zaradir and the coalition partners of the government would be held responsible if Swat peace deal fails to materialize.
“Asif Zardari has been reluctant to sign Nizam-e-Adl regulation for the last one and a half month,” he pointed out.
Qazi Hussain Ahmed said if ANP and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islami really wants to ensure peace, they should part ways with the government.
He feared that violence would spread throughout Malakand Division including Dir and Bunair if peace agreement is not implemented. On the other hand materialization of the deal would bring the present chaotic situation to a calm, he added.
