Residents in Pakistan's northwestern Swat valley are living in fear of armed Talibans campaigning against the government.
Despite the presence of thousands of troops, the Taliban remains firmly in control of Swat in Pakistan's northwest. Policemen and common people have been beheaded in the streets, men lashed and schools burnt down under Taliban justice.
Some 400 private schools enrolling 40,000 girls have been shut down

Thousands of People vacating their hard-earned possessions (that includes everything even the sweets u bring home) are now running for their lives, crossing rivers, climbing mountains as as roads are closed and getting settled up in FIELDS. Imagine how hard it is to carry your ill and aged kins. Even mothers carrying dead babies. ( they probably didn't got the time to bury them.)
